Alright this is one of the issues that just drives me nuts. I don't know how many times I have been out in public and see children crying because their parents wont give them any attention. I don't know how many times I have heard divorced parents complaining about their child support being to high. I don't understand why parents are having kids and then getting a divorce not understanding the long term effects that it will have on the child. It basically comes down to really simple things. If you don't want kids wear a condom. If you think your marriage is going to fail, don't have kids. If you can't love a child, don't have one. Basically love your kids. The definition of a family to me is a support group that are bonded together by blood. Kids need support from their parents. Spouses need support from the other spouse. Parents are responsible for the way their children act. The American family makes me weep on the inside because most, but not all have one of these traits happen in almost every family. Its sad to go out and see it in public places. Its sad to see it wear I work. Why can't people realize that they way the treat their family is wrong. I wish people would wake up. Soon.

Hey!

So yesterday I watched one of the greatest movies that I have ever seen. Who would think that a crappy actor like Ben Affleck could write such an amazing movie? Well I guess he did write Good Will Hunting. Its a great movie in which there will be awesome discussion afterwards. I know I watched it with two guys and there was some amazing discussion after the movie. We just decided to agree to disagree.

I have also recently finished an amazing book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan. It showed me that in the busyness of this world we still need to give focus and glory to God. We all get wrapped up in things that have no purpose at all and we take our eyes off the thing that truly matters. I can admit this happens to me all of the time, but then the reality check sets in and I realize that nothing else in this world matters except for pleasing and giving honor to God. This is one of my favorite quotes from the book.

• Some people claim that we can be Christians without necessarily becoming disciples. I wonder, then,why the last thing that Jesus told us was to go into the world, making disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey all that He commanded? You'll notice that He didnt add, "But hey, if that's too much to ask, tell them to just become Christians--- you know, the people who get to go to Heaven without having to commit to anything.

This is sad but true. It makes me so sad that some Christians are exactly like this. On Sunday morning, they worship and pray, but on Monday through Saturday they are the total opposite people. No commitment to God. Its my prayer that these people realize the importance in life. Because lets by honest its not about us. First Blog

Hey. So this is my first blog and I will be attempting to write on it everyday. I have been told I talk a lot so I decided maybe I should put my thoughts on paper or blog (if you want to be correct).
